WWE Crown Jewel 2026 Champion Vs. Champion Matches Take Shape

WWE put the women’s Crown Jewel Championship match on screen during Monday’s Raw on Netflix, with Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan set to face WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green. The men’s side points to World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns against Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn, following the champion vs. champion format WWE has used since 2024. Crown Jewel takes place Saturday, November 7 at Riyadh Season Stadium at KAFD in Saudi Arabia.

Morgan earned her spot Saturday at Money in the Bank, where she pinned Stephanie Vaquer in a triple threat that also included Becky Lynch, as covered in our match report. Green won the interim title in a ladder match at SummerSlam in August.

Reigns and Zayn on a collision course

Reigns retained the World Heavyweight Championship against LA Knight at Money in the Bank, and WWE had already confirmed him for Crown Jewel in his announced schedule. Zayn won the Undisputed WWE Championship by beating CM Punk on the September 11 SmackDown in Mexico City, part of a chaotic stretch for WWE’s top titles.

The format launched in 2024, when Cody Rhodes beat Gunther for the first men’s Crown Jewel Championship and Morgan beat Nia Jax for the first women’s title. Last year in Perth, Seth Rollins beat Rhodes and Vaquer beat Tiffany Stratton, and they remain the reigning Crown Jewel Champions.

Riyadh still on the calendar

WWE still lists the show for Riyadh as of October 12, and it has announced no change, even as security concerns around the region have drawn attention. The company has said it has contingency plans. We’ve been tracking the U.S. travel warning surrounding the trip and WWE’s discussions with Saudi officials, and any change to the date or location would also reshape this card.

More matches are expected to be added as Raw and SmackDown build toward November 7.
