Conrad Thompson, co-host of JR\'s Grilling podcast, took to X (formerly Twitter) to debunk the viral quote that claimed Ross said: \"Booking wrestling in 2025 is very easy. Just throw a bunch of sht out there and some basement dweller will invent a story for you and defend your booking on social media.\"
Not So Fast
Thompson was clear in his response: \"We recorded @JrGrilling days before the PPV. @JRsBBQ did not say this on the pod or anywhere else. This is a made up quote but yall have fun I reckon.\"
The fake quote originally appeared alongside discussion of AEW Worlds End and was presented as if Ross had made disparaging comments about All Elite Wrestling\'s creative direction. The quote quickly spread across wrestling social media before Thompson\'s correction.
