TNA Wrestling made it official Tuesday morning, confirming a multi-year media rights agreement with AMC Networks that will bring “Thursday Night iMPACT!” to the cable channel starting January 15, 2026.
The partnership launches with a live two-hour broadcast from the Curtis Culwell Center in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, airing from 9-11 PM ET — a new timeslot that’s one hour later than TNA’s current schedule on AXS TV. The show will also stream on AMC+.
“TNA Wrestling heads into 2026 the hottest it has ever been – with intense rivalries and a fan base that loves the TNA stars,” said TNA President Carlos Silva. “We cannot wait to expand the TNA audience with our new partner, AMC Networks, which has such a long and storied history of serving passionate and engaged fans across so many shows and franchises.”
The deal represents a significant distribution upgrade, with AMC reaching approximately 60 million homes — roughly double TNA’s current reach on Anthem-owned AXS TV.
WWE Partnership Status Unclear
However, sports business journalist Blake “Axe” Avignon raised questions about the future of TNA’s relationship with WWE, tweeting that sources indicate the multi-year U.S. rights deal is “expected to land around $30M” and that “WWE intends to end its NXT–TNA partnership” using a 60-day termination clause that the AMC deal would activate.
These claims remain unconfirmed. TNA’s official press release explicitly references “TNA’s ground-breaking, multi-year partnership with WWE and its NXT brand,” noting recent appearances by TNA stars Nic Nemeth, Matt Cardona, Leon Slater, Xia Brookside, and Knockouts World Champion Léi Y?ng Lee on WWE/NXT programming.
The WWE-TNA partnership, officially announced in January 2025, was described as a multi-year agreement for crossover opportunities. Neither WWE nor TNA have publicly commented on any potential changes to the arrangement.
Breaking New Ground
AMC has never aired professional wrestling programming, though the network is known for acclaimed series like “Breaking Bad,” “The Walking Dead,” and “Better Call Saul.” The network is owned by the James Dolan family, which also controls Madison Square Garden.
Following the January 15 debut, TNA will bring back-to-back nights of wrestling to Albuquerque, New Mexico — home to “Breaking Bad” and “Better Call Saul” — on January 22-23, with both Tingley Coliseum shows airing on AMC.

The 2025-26 TNA roster features Jeff & Matt Hardy, Nic & Ryan Nemeth, TNA World Champion Frankie Kazarian, Mike Santana, Steve Maclin, Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers, Santino Marella, Mustafa Ali, Moose, Elijah, Eric Young, Tessa Blanchard, and Ash By Elegance.
Leon Slater, 21, is the youngest X Division Champion in company history. Léi Y?ng Lee holds the Knockouts World Championship, making her the first Chinese champion in TNA history. The IInspiration (Jessie McKay & Cassie Lee) are the reigning Knockouts World Tag Team Champions.
Tickets for the January 15 Dallas show go on sale December 11 at 10 AM ET at tnawrestling.com, with a pre-sale beginning December 9. Albuquerque tickets follow the same schedule.
Jon Alba of Sports Illustrated first reported AMC’s interest in TNA’s media rights in November. Silva previously indicated that TNA and Creative Artists Agency valued the company’s media rights between $7 million and $10 million, though no official financial terms were disclosed Tuesday.
