Tony Khan has shared his thoughts on AJ Styles following the WWE veteran's recent retirement, calling him "one of the all-time greats" in professional wrestling.
Speaking with Josh Martinez on the Superstar Crossover podcast, the AEW President praised Styles' career achievements across multiple promotions.
AJ Styles is absolutely a fantastic wrestler. He's one of my favorites and I think he's had an amazing career all over the world. Some of my favorite stuff is when AJ Styles was in New Japan Pro Wrestling. His match with Minoru Suzuki is one of my personal favorites. He had a great alliance with the Bullet Club at that time. I consider him to be one of the all-time greats."

Khan acknowledged Styles' worldwide impact on the industry, particularly his time in Japan where he held the IWGP Heavyweight Championship.
Styles' Bullet Club run from 2014-2016 is widely credited with helping elevate New Japan Pro Wrestling's international profile, paving the way for the current era of cross-promotional partnerships.
While Styles was competing for WWE long before AEW's launch, but he's got history with a lot of AEW's top stars, and Ring of Honor.
