The reigning WWE United States Champion addressed his unique character alignment in a recent interview with Rompipallone, offering a refreshingly simple explanation for why he doesn’t fit neatly into the traditional heel or babyface box.

The philosophy extends to how he views his relationship with the crowd, too.
