It’s been less than two weeks since Trick Williams debuted his custom white fur-trimmed United States Championship belt on SmackDown — and it’s already caused more drama than most title reigns.
Lil Yachty Delivered the Belt on SmackDown
On the July 10 episode of SmackDown, rapper Lil Yachty made a surprise appearance to present Williams with a one-of-a-kind custom fur title belt. The crowd lost it. Social media lost it harder. Within hours, “Trick Williams fur belt” was trending across wrestling Twitter and the clips were going viral on every platform.
It was the kind of moment that only Trick Williams could pull off — equal parts ridiculous and undeniably cool.
Baron Corbin Came Back… and He’s Mad About It
Not everyone was impressed. A returning Baron Corbin crashed SmackDown to make his feelings known — attacking both Williams and Carmelo Hayes in a segment that made his SummerSlam intentions crystal clear.
Williams, never one to let a moment pass, had the perfect response to why Corbin came back gunning specifically for him: “He was mad because my title has more hair than he does.”
The belt has a way of drawing attention. Whether that’s adoring fans or jealous former champions, it doesn’t seem to matter to Trick.
Even the Wrestlers Can’t Stop Talking About It
The fur title has become a conversation piece across the locker room. Fan reactions at live events have been equally electric, with the belt getting its own pops whenever Williams holds it up.
For a champion who has described his entire philosophy as simply being “the most entertaining United States Champion,” the fur belt is doing exactly what it’s supposed to do.
Want One?
WWE Shop has released a limited edition replica of the fur United States Championship for fans who want a piece of the moment. Given how much buzz the belt has generated, don’t expect it to stick around long.
