Zilla Fatu’s shocking WWE debut caught the attention of many, including a former close associate of his late father, WWE legend Umaga.
He is none other than Umaga’s former manager, Armando Estrada. The former WWE name took to his X to react to his son, Zilla’s NXT arrival with a one-word message:
Hello.
On the August 11 episode of WWE NXT, Grayson Waller and Cruz Montana squared off in a No.1 contender singles bout with NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo on commentary. However, the exciting showdown did not end with a decisive conclusion.
In the final moments of the bout, Zilla Fatu shockingly ran into the ring and began to decimate both Waller and Cruz. The Samoan star proudly showcased the moves of his late father, Umaga, with the crowd erupting in a loud pop. Furthermore, the ending saw Zilla starting down D’Angelo and hinting at coming after his NXT Championship.
Zilla Fatu had been a major prospect on the independent scene for a while, carrying on Umaga’s legacy. At the same time, Armando Estrada was a part of that, having served as his manager in the late 2000s.
With Zilla Fatu finally arriving in WWE and Estrada taking notice, it will be interesting to see whether he aligns with Umaga’s son and creates a successful partnership like before in the future.
