The wrestling world has shared their support for Swerve Strickland following his AEW World Championship victory at AEW Dynasty.
Strickland dethroned Samoa Joe in the main event of the show to become the eighth man to have won the gold. The win also made Strickland the first black man to hold the AEW World Championship.

Strickland\'s win clearly means a lot to a lot of people and for good reason. After the setback of his 2021 release from WWE, Strickland has pulled himself up to become one of the hottest acts in professional wrestling. As for how his reign goes remains to be seen but AEW is indeed Swerve\'s house after the Dynasty pay-per-view.
