WWE Star Suggests That Rhea Ripley Is 'Scared' Of Her

With an incredible resume and strength, WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley remains one of WWE’s fiercest in-ring competitors. Even still, one of her colleagues has suggested that she fears them.

During an interview with Love Wrestling, Blake Monroe emphasized the lack of on-screen interaction between herself and Ripley, a fellow WWE SmackDown star.

Look, all I want to say is I debuted, and shortly after, Rhea Ripley got a boo-boo. Now, I don’t think that’s a coincidence. I think she’s a little scared,” Monroe said. “So I’m actually kind of waiting for Rhea to come back. I haven’t actually met you in real life, Rhea, and I’d love to. I’m the new girl, and I’m foreign like you, I came here with a dream. So I just want to say hi.

Mornoe marked her official SmackDown debut on June 26 by attacking former Women’s United States Champion Giulia. Since then, the former NXT Women’s North American Champion has appeared in backstage segments with the likes of Tiffany Stratton and Chelsea Green. She is still awaiting her blue brand in-ring debut.

Ripley, meanwhile, has remained out of action since early June due to a torn meniscus. Following “Mami’s” recent surgery, reports indicated that WWE is hopeful that her return will materialize in time for the Royal Rumble PLE, which is set for February 2027.

Amidst Ripley’s absence, Chelsea Green reigns as the Interim WWE Women’s Champion. Despite Green recently sustaining an orbital eye fracture, she is not currently expected to be stripped of her respective title.
