WWE is not moving Crown Jewel off November 7.
On Tuesday, the US State Department reissued its travel advisory for Saudi Arabia, which sits at Level 3 and urges Americans to reconsider travel. The area near the Yemen border carries a Level 4 do-not-travel designation.
WrestleVotes Radio asked a source for Fightful Select whether WWE would consider changing plans for Crown Jewel, scheduled for Riyadh Season Stadium at KAFD on November 7. The source said a call of that size sits well above their pay grade, but confirmed the situation is being discussed inside the company.
The date itself is expected to hold. WWE is committed to ESPN for November 7, and the source said the event is expected to happen regardless of where it ends up taking place.
That leaves one open question. Whether WWE can send talent and staff to Saudi Arabia on that date, given the current advisory, is the part nobody has answered yet.
