Cora Jade's pursuit of the TNA Knockouts World Championship will lead her to competing on a future episode of TNA iMPACT. After this week's show, TNA filmed next week's episode of their weekly flagship show. During the taping, the former NXT Women's Tag Team Champion took on TNA Wrestling's Hyan.
This match marked Jade's first time competing for TNA Wrestling, but not her first time competing for the company. In 2019, Jade competed as Elyana Black against Havok during the TNA Prelude to Glory event. Jade, again as Elyana Black, has also competed for AEW, making her one of a select few to compete in the three major wrestling promotions in the United States.
Jade appeared at TNA Genesis where she confronted Masha Slamovich after the TNA Knockouts World Champion retained her gold against Rosemary. Jade was also a part of this week's iMPACT, where her distracting presence would cost Slamovich and Spitfire in six-woman tag-team action.

Cora Jade had shared her intent to win the TNA Knockouts World Title, which if successful would be a historic first between the two parties. With a match between Jade and Slamovich seeming inevitable, it remains to be seen whether it'll be the champion or the challenger who has the home-field advantage.
