WWE Raw rolls into the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas on Monday night with a stacked card headlined by the official contract signing for the World Heavyweight Championship match between Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins at SummerSlam. The July 13 show also features an Intercontinental Championship gauntlet, a Brock Lesnar appearance, and a demand from Jacob Fatu that Solo Sikoa show up.
Raw General Manager Adam Pearce confirmed the contract signing, which will make the Reigns-Rollins clash official on paper ahead of the premium live event. WWE’s own SummerSlam listing already has the bout set, with Reigns defending the title against Rollins.
Pearce laid out the stakes when announcing the segment, per Adam Pearce / WWE.
“We will put ink to paper on one of the most storied championship matches in recent history. You want to talk about a personal issue with a ton of stakes in history? Seth Freakin’ Rollins will challenge the OTC, your World Heavyweight Champion, Roman Reigns, for the gold at SummerSlam. And I will get two signatures on a contract to make it official.”
Reigns accepted Rollins’ challenge on the June 29 edition of Raw, and the two are now locked in for the SummerSlam headliner.
