WWE Raw Spoilers Airing August 31: Surprise Return, Roman Reigns Challenger

WWE taped the August 31 episode of Monday Night Raw tonight (August 28) from Cleveland. Below are the full spoiler results of the show:

Parking Lot Segment: The Usos are seen arriving but they get attacked by Royce Keys and OTM. Jacob Fatu tried to make the save but the attackers had retreated before he could reach the site. An angry Fatu then started the show with a promo at ringside. He promised to dogwalk all three of the ‘motherfuckers’ before his microphone was cut off. Jacob then destroyed some things at ringside and laid out security personnel before leaving through the crowd.
WWE Women’s IC Title Match: Raquel Rodriguez def. Sol Ruca: Lyra Valkyria’s interference allowed Rodriguez to retain. Valkyria stood at ringside for a bit smiling, before she finally left.
Chad Gable Promo: Gable gets a good pop and cuts a promo about the IC title defining his legacy. He called out Dragon Lee. Gable was looking to give a title shot to Lee before Ethan Page interrupted. This led to a #1 contender’s match between the two with the winner receiving the title shot at the upcoming Raw episode from Mexico.
IC Title #1 Contender match: Dragon Lee def. Ethan Page: Page removed the turnbuckle pad during the bout but Chad Gable pointed it out to the referee. Lee then picked up the victory.
Roman Reigns Promo: The Tribal Chief explains that the OTC stands for ‘One True Champion’ and then vows that Solo Sikoa and LA Knight will acknowledge him. Knight came out to tell Roman he was recycling material from three years ago. The camera cut to the back where Sikoa was laid out surrounded by Jacob Fatu and the officials. Knight ran to help Solo but Reigns took him out.

Singles Match: Je’Von Evans def. Dominik Mysterio: JD McDonagh accompanied Dom and they attacked Evans before the match. McDonagh clotheslined Evans leading to a DQ victory for the Young OG. The Judgment Day stars attacked Je’Von after the bout until a returning Joe Hendry made the save.
Tag Team Match: Dominik Mysterio & JD McDonagh def. Je’Von Evans and Joe Hendry: McDonagh took Hendry out with a headbutt outside the ring, allowing Mysterio to hit the frog splash for the win.
Backstage Segment: Stephanie Vaquer interrupted a Becky Lynch promo. They argued about who owed who.
Backstage Segment: Rey Mysterio spoke to Rey Fenix before his match against Penta.
Backstage Segment: Cathy Kelley interviewed Paul Heyman. Heyman talks about the upcoming SNME match between Oba Femi and Bron Breakker, and says we will find out who the future of WWE is in real time.
World Heavyweight Championship Contenders Tournament Finals: Penta def. Rey Fenix: Penta picked up the victory in what was described as the TV match of the year. Penta raised his brother’s hand after the bout, before Roman Reigns came out and had a stare down with his next challenger.
