Major League Wrestling (MLW) was founded by Court Bauer on April 7, 2002, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The company initially operated until 2004 before going on hiatus. MLW resumed activities in 2017 and has since grown to become a prominent independent wrestling promotion featuring diverse fighting styles. In November 2025, MLW relocated its headquarters from New Rochelle, New York to Charleston, South Carolina.
