    History

TKO Group Holdings, Inc. was formed on September 12, 2023, through the merger of Endeavor's subsidiary Zuffa (the parent company of UFC) and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). The merger resulted in Endeavor holding a 51% controlling interest with existing WWE shareholders owning 49%. Ari Emanuel serves as CEO, with Mark Shapiro as president and COO. Dana White continues as UFC CEO, and Nick Khan remains WWE president. In October 2024, TKO announced plans to acquire additional sports assets from Endeavor, including Professional Bull Riders (PBR), On Location Events, and IMG assets for $3.25 billion.
