"First Time Ever" Dream Match set for AEW Collision MAX/TNT Simulcast

December 28, 2024Dec 28, 2024

A "first-time-ever" Dream Match has been set up for the first AEW Collision on MAX/TNT simulcast on January 4th. Although...it's worth noting that the quotation marks are doing a lot of heavy lifting here.

Toni Storm made her "AEW PPV debut" at Worlds End by defeating Leila Grey in the opening match of the Zero Hour pre-show. Later in the pre-show, Storm was being interviewed backstage by Lexy Nair when Deonna Purrazzo appeared and challenged Toni to a match on Collision.

AEW Collision Toni Storm vs Deonna Purrazzo

Purrazzo was playing along with the idea that Toni is a "rookie" and that this would be a first-time-ever match. Obviously that isn't the case, but it looks like the Storm storyline will be continuing for at least another week as she navigates her way through the All Elite Women's roster before getting her inevitable rematch with Mariah May.
