AAA has confirmed that All Elite Wrestling stars Penta El Zero M and Rey Fenix will return at TripleMania XXIX to defend their AAA World Tag Team Titles.
In today\'s TripleMania press conference, the company confirmed that the Lucha Bros will be defending their belts in a triple threat tag team match against Laredo Kid & Hijo del Vikingo, plus Black Taurus with a mystery partner.
Penta El Zero M and Rey Fenix won the AAA World Tag Team Titles back in June 2019, where they defeated current AEW Tag Champs The Young Bucks. The Lucha Bros have defended the titles on three occasions since the win, twice in 2019 and in December 2020 at TripleMania XXVIII.
The TripleMania XXVIII match was also a triple threat; with the Lucha Bros defending successfully against Myzteziz Jr. and Octagon Jr., and Rey Escorpion and Texano Jr.
