Following a tag team match between PCO & Sami Callihan and The Good Hands (Jason Hotch & John Skyler), the lights dimmed and the number 23 was shown on screen, much to the confusion of Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt on commentary.
Speculation quickly began on social media, with theories about what the number could mean. Some fans speculated that it could do with TNA’s taping of iMPACT on January 23, in San Antonio, TX, the same city WWE will host Saturday Night’s Main Event that same week. WWE and TNA have worked closely in 2024 with talent from NXT and TNA appearing for the other side.
