AEW has reached a new deal with Warner Bros. Discovery, one that’ll keep Dynamite and Collision on TBS and TNT respectively for years to come. The deal is estimated to be worth between $150 to $185 million a year and will feature plenty from the voice of AEW: Tony Schiavone.
Speaking at the post-show AEW WrestleDream media scrum, Schiavone shared his excitement over the new deal, adding that he will remain on the broadcast for at least four to five more years.
“We’re very very excited about our renewal with Warner Brothers Discovery and Fox Sports Mexico. We’re very very excited about that. I’m personally excited that my long-time career is going to continue for at least another four to five years or so. I’m honored to be here.”
AEW is estimated to earn $95 million in additional revenue from the deal, the Wrestling Observer reports, which would leave AEW within a profit window of between $61 million to $76 million in 2025. It’s added that this window could be slightly lower if attendance, merchandise sales, or pay-per-view sales decline in the coming years.
As always, it’s worth remembering that these are estimated figures, and since AEW is not a publicly traded company, they are under no obligation to disclose their real numbers. Nevertheless, the future of All Elite Wrestling looks very bright with the company’s new deal, and Tony Schiavone is thrilled to be a part of that future.
