WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross tweeted the following about The Rock and CM Punk’s show-closing segment on RAW:

Zack Ryder Snubbed By WWE On RAW: #AREYOUSERIOUSBRO?!

28

As if not getting booked on RAW each week was bad enough, Zack Ryder was blatantly snubbed by WWE on RAW in a way that the entire WWE Universe took notice. During Monday’s RAW, WWE aired an info-graphic touting the Superstars with the most Twitter followers:

areyouseriousbro

The problem is that Zack Ryder has 990,316 followers – over 100,000 more than The Miz and enough to qualify for the list.

Zack Ryder tweeted the following messages in response to the omission:

This lead to #AREYOUSERIOUSBRO trending worldwide on Twitter. Ryder continued:

Claiming a terrible miscarriage of justice, Ryder made one final request regarding how they can right this wrong:

What Happened After RAW With The Rock & CM Punk, Ryback Helped Backstage

6

– After WWE Champion CM Punk defeated Ryback on RAW in their TLC match, WWE trainers came to ringside and tried getting Ryback onto a stretcher. Ryback pushed them away, but was eventually helped to the back by four referees. Ryback was really selling the effects of the powerbomb spot through a table he suffered at the hands of The Shield.

– After Monday’s RAW went off the air, CM Punk returned to the ring to confront The Rock and told him he wasn’t finished talking yet. This resulted in The Rock delivering three more Rock Bottoms to the WWE Champion.

The Rock then grabbed the microphone and told the crowd that he used to live and train in Tampa, which is why he chose the city to make his WWE return.

The scheduled dark match main event between John Cena & Sheamus vs. Big Show & Dolph Ziggler never took place.

The first RAW of 2013 kicks off with an electrifying video package for The Rock’s return. Rock is here to evaluate which ever Superstar may be his Royal Rumble opponent – WWE Champion CM Punk or his opponent tonight, Ryback.

– We’re live from Tampa, Florida as Michael Cole welcomes us to RAW. We go right to the ring and out comes John Cena to a mixed reaction.

He talks about Punk vs. Ryback in the TLC Match. He then brings up The Rock’s return and says you can almost feel the electricity, almost feel the boots wanting to be put to asses. Cena hypes Rock’s return and the crowd pops. Cena brings up the Road to WrestleMania and Royal Rumble. Cena is interrupted by Dolph Ziggler, AJ Lee and Big E Langston on the stage.

Ziggler says fans may have came for Cena or Rock tonight but they will remember him. AJ speaks and she’s upset about Cena slopping her last week. She’s also upset about Cena toying with her heart. AJ can’t believe she chose to lose her job over someone like Cena. She calls him a petty, pathetic, small man. A very small man, she adds. Cena says AJ just made her first wiener joke. Cena gets the crowd to do the wave and AJ is getting upset. Cena goes on and Ziggler interrupts him. Ziggler has had enough. Ziggler says he isn’t going anywhere so Cena can just cut the crap. Cena says he cut the crap last week and it fell all over Ziggler. Ziggler announces he will be in the Rumble also.

Ziggler says his primary goal in the Rumble is to make sure Cena doesn’t win. Cena scares them and makes them think he’s about to slop them again. Cena makes a joke about AJ messing with both Ziggler and Big E. Cena says he’s done talking and wants to fight. He calls Ziggler down to the ring for a fight. Big E takes the mic and says Dolph isn’t Cena’s only problem. The crowd boos. Big E says it’s on. Cena ignores Big E and tells Ziggler to come take a whooping. Jim Ross Blog: The Rock’s Return To RAW Tonight, Next Week’s 20th Anniversary

4

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross is back with his latest blog update, which you can read in its entirety at JRsBarBQ.com. Here are some highlights of what JR wrote about:

Tonight’s RAW: “I see tonight’s RAW as a great opportunity for ALL talents to make their presence felt. My ‘maximizing one’s minutes’ theory was never more timely than it will be tonight for everyone who appears on RAW. Raw getting off to a fast, compelling start seems imperative. First talents out of the gate will occupy some prime real estate. The first 30 minutes of RAW are going to be vital.”

The Rock’s Return: “With @TheRock returning to the live, Monday night RAW tonight, it kicks off WWE’s 2013 TV year in a significant manner … Hard to believe that some on Twitter @JRsBBQ seemingly have such ill conceived opinions that the Rock returning to WWE to gear up for a WrestleMania run is a negative to ‘young talents.’ I find this flimsy theory laughable. Rock is a major attraction that will attract disconnected/former viewers and many new viewers who are fans of Rock’s movie work. The more eyes watching any WWE program the better. Rock also provides WWE an ‘outside the usual envelope’ media buzz which is invaluable.”

Next Week’s 20th Anniversary RAW: “Getting loads of questions regarding the 20th Anniversary of RAW show in Houston next week. I can’t make it any clearer but I don’t know any creative plans and if I did why would I spoil them? One can get plenty of speculation from the internet wrestling community who appear to have better sources than do I. I just know that every attempt will be made to make that milestone event special and that includes follow up to what occurs tonight.”

Last week, Solomonster said that if Antonio Cesaro could get Great Khali up for the Neutralizer on Main Event that he would record the Sound Off in a Swiss accent. Well, that Cesaro is one strong SOB. I’m also a man of my word, so I apologize in advance to anyone with a Swiss accent for butchering their native tongue. This week, we’ll talk about one idea for the Rock/Punk match that hasn’t really been mentioned yet, WWE stealing ideas from TNA, the atrocious Mae Young skits from Raw, praise for the Knockouts match on Impact, Sting’s unbelievably LAME comeback on Thursday, the status of Shelton Benjamin and WWE, and will CM Punk ever be as big of a star as John Cena?
