70

WWE Diva Cameron, one of Brodus Clay’s Funkadactyl dancers, allegedly tried bribing a police officer with $10,000 after she was arrested for DUI last week in Tampa Bay, Florida.

View Here: Cameron’s DUI MUGSHOT

The police report says Cameron had a blood alcohol content of .20, more than twice the legal limit in Florida.

Cameron allegedly offered one of the officers $10,000 to “let her go because she would lose her job.”

Police say that Cameron had a male passenger in the car, who told them the two of them had been drinking martinis before driving home.

A representative for WWE issued a statement saying:

“Ariane [Cameron] did not alert us to this matter, we are investigating and will take appropriate action.”

CM Punk Talks About Wrestling Steve Austin & The Rock, Who Influenced Him

25

WWE Champion CM Punk was interviewed by Machinima Sports and discussed WWE ’13, being on the cover of the video game, facing Steve Austin, The Rock, wanting to face Cactus Jack and more. Here are some highlights of what Punk said about:

Who from the Attitude Era influenced his character: “Nobody, I’ve been CM Punk since I was 15 years old… I was nicknamed Punk when I was a little kid, ’cause I was a little punk into the Ramones, listening to the Clash, listening to punk rock music. I was the first guy to punch someone in the face and not ask questions. So that’s who CM Punk is and that’s where it came from… But a guy who I really liked and admired from the Attitude Era was ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin.”

If he will wrestle Austin: “It’s not up to me. I’ll fight Muhammad Ali, I’ll fight Rin Tin Tin, I’ll fight anybody. Steve Austin knows that. He’s got a bum wheel, he said? We’ll see about next year, see what’s hurt or injured or what else the excuse will be come next year. I’m not a hard guy to find, I’m the WWE Champion.”

Facing The Rock at the Royal Rumble: “I’ve got a date with the Rock come Royal Rumble ’cause apparently somebody on the Board of Directors in their infinite wisdom just likes to grant title matches… Make no mistake about it, WWE’s no joke, any Sunday I could lose this title, I could lose this title tomorrow. I don’t plan on it, but I’m saying that the possibility lies within. I have to hold on to this… I have to hold on to this until The Royal Rumble so I can shut Rock up myself, because that’s what I’ve wanted to do for years and I’m gonna get my chance… Rock, you know what’s comin’ for you. There’s a reason why he’s been silent, and it’s not because he’s busy shooting a movie, he knows this time he’s finally bitten off more than he can chew.”

WWE Superstars Discuss Picking Their Nose (Video), Update On Rene Dupree

18

– This week on “WWE Inbox,” Superstars comment on whether they’ve ever been caught picking their nose while driving.

“I really don’t care because if you have a booger up there, you have to pick it,” says WWE Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston. “I pick my nose quite a bit.”

WWE Divas Champion Layla says, “It’s normal. It’s what you do in the car, right?” She continues, “You think nobody’s looking at you, you start picking your nose and then you’re like, “Oh God, that person just saw me.”

Derrick Bateman, however, doesn’t care what anyone thinks about him picking his nose.

“It’s not so much that caught picking my nose, it’s that I choose to pick my nose in public because I do not care what people think of my sanitary habits,” he says.

Superstars also reveal their favorite restaurants and what they stock their fridges with.

– Bill Behrens is currently accepting U.S. independent bookings on behalf of former WWE Superstar Rene Dupree through SBIBookings.com. Dupree now resides in New Brunswick, Canada after primarily competing in Japan and Europe since departing from WWE in 2007.

CM Punk Blades On RAW (Video), WWE RAW Ratings Are In

42

– Monday’s WWE Raw drew a 3.1 rating and averaged 4.48 million viewers for the 3-hour show, which is even with last week’s post-SummerSlam episode. Here’s the hourly breakdown:

Hour 1: 2.9 rating (4.16 million viewers)
Hour 2: 3.3 rating (4.79 million viewers)
Hour 3: 3.2 rating (4.49 million viewers)

– Even though WWE prohibits “blading,” WWE Champion Punk used a razor blade to cut his head open during his steel cage match against Jerry Lawler on RAW.

The spot occurred when Punk was thrown into the cage. Punk then appeared to hand the blade off to referee Charles Robinson. We have not heard anything about Punk getting any backstage heat for the blade job.

Check out this video of CM Punk blading on RAW:

30

– Former WWE announcers Jonathan Coachman and Todd Grisham will host ESPN’s SportsCenter once again tonight at 8PM ET.

Picture of Coach & Todd Grisham Hosting ESPN’s SportsCenter

– There is some talk in WWE that late comedian Andy Kaufman could be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame next year. Aftr his attack on Jerry Lawler at the end of last week’s RAW, CM Punk tweeted that his attack was for Andy Kaufman. On RAW, Kaufman was mentioned during Punk and Lawler’s in-ring promo.

If Kaufman is part of next year’s class, that would eliminate any chance of Randy Savage being inducted next year, since WWE is sensitive about inducting more than one deceased person per year.

DreadCentral.com has an article up looking at the WWE Studios horror movie, No One Lives, featuring Brodus Clay. The sysnopsis reads:

“A ruthless criminal gang takes a young couple hostage and goes to ground in an abandoned house in the middle of nowhere. When the captive girl is killed, the tables are unexpectedly turned. The gang finds itself outsmarted by an urbane and seasoned killer determined to ensure that no one lives.”

More On Anger Management & Harold, UFC’s Cancelled PPV & More

37

WWEShop.com is selling new Santino Marella “Milan Miracle” t-shirts.

– The last-minute cancellation of Saturday night’s UFC pay-per-view was a hot topic of conversation backstage at Monday’s RAW. There was even some discussion of WWE taking a shot on RAW and talking about how WWE ‘never cancels PPV events.’

– After appearing on Monday’s RAW as “Harold” during Daniel Bryan and Kane’s anger management session, it’s believed that indy wrestler Scorpio Sky turned down TNA’s recent contract offer. Sky recently competed in TNA as Mason Andrews and was offered a deal, however he decided to attend WWE’s 3-day tryout camp in California last week before signing anything with TNA.

WWE will air more anger management skits next week on RAW (likely done in the same format as this week, with one airing per hour). The skits were all filmed before SummerSlam.

News On Ryback’s Push, Morrison & Melina Update, Where Is Crowbar?

– Former WWE superstar John Morrison noted on Twitter that he and former WWE diva Melina are working on a new web project, The Darkness Descending: Redemption. For more on the series, visit.

– The WWE website has a new “Where Are They Now” feature on former WCW star Crowbar. Crowbar, real name Christopher Ford, is now a physical therapist working with several hospitals in northern New Jersey.

– WWE remains very supportive of Ryback’s character, with hopes that he could eventually be a main event star. We noted earlier that audiences are really getting into his “Feed Me More” chant, without WWE having to pipe in sound effects.

After seeing the damage done to other new wrestlers who are pushed very hard at first and then reigned in, WWE is looking to build up Ryback very slowly and is just now having him wrestle mid-card talent.

Cameron’s Mughsot Picture – Somebody Call Her Momma!

Her arrest report reveals that she refused a blood alcohol test at the scene of the arrest, which took place at the corner of Jim Walter Boulevard and West Shore Boulevard North at 2:24 AM.

It’s worth noting that listed her occupation as a “sales associate” for Wells Fargo (not a WWE performer), perhaps hoping that she could stay under the radar without news of the arrest going public.

Former WWE Announcers Host ESPN Sports Center (Picture)

14

On Tuesday night, ESPN broadcasters (and former WWE stars) Jonathan Coachman and Todd Grisham hosted SportsCenter together for the first time ever. Credit to SEScoops.com reader Eric Sturrock for sending along this recap:

Todd Grisham and The Coach hosted ESPNEWS Sportscenter together for the first time together. They started the show off with Grisham saying “Welcome to Sportscenter alongside The Coach I’m…..” Coach cut him off “Does it really matter who you are?”

Their first story together was about WR Mike Wallace showing up to the Pittsburgh Steelers, They talked about his money showing up. Coach: “His millions..” Grisham: “And millions….” Coach: “And Millions.”

Later, they joked about who would read one story, then when they did a live cut in to tennis they sarcastically joked about how exciting it was. At the end of the show Coach told a story about two tennis players who are dating eating snowcones, Todd said “Interesting story.” Coach: “Well, that’s what I get paid for.”

Grisham tweeted this picture of the two of them together:

*Spoilers* WWE SmackDown Tapings Results For Friday

26

The opening segment included Sheamus, Damien Sandow, and Booker T. A match was set with Sheamus facing Sandow later in the show.

Rey Mysterio was shown walking backstage.

1. Rey Mysterio defeated Cody Rhodes. Nice TV match. The crowd loved Rey. Cody got distracted by trying to take off the mask. After the match, Cody attacked Rey, which lead to Sin Cara coming out. Rey hit the 619 on Rhodes and Sin Cara put a mask on Cody.

The first anger management video from Raw was shown. The crowd chanted yes.

2. Kaitlyn defeated Natalya. Eve served as guest commentator. Kaitlyn will face Layla at Night of Champions.

Footage aired of Vickie and AJ from Raw. Booker T told Matt Striker that AJ is off her rocker. Vickie came up and criticized AJ and said if the board of directors doesn’t take action against AJ then she will.

A video recapped Punk and Lawler from Raw. The second anger management video from Raw was shown.

3. Sheamus beat Damien Sandow by countout. Sandow ran to the back for the finish. It was a good match. They worked well together.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Donald Driver (who’s usually at WWE shows) was shown for the biggest reaction of the night. Typical Packers fans. Driver walked out briefly while footage was being shown from last week, and the four men in the ring looked confused at the second big reaction for Driver. Funny moment, but of course the attention whore Driver had to briefly walk out when all eyes were on him.

4. The Prime Time Players defeated Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd.

The last anger management video aired, everyone cracked up at Kane again.

In the ring, Josh Mathews interviewed Alberto Del Rio, who was accompanied by Ricardo Rodriguez. Del Rio drove a car in, put over his win last week against Orton, and his match with Sheamus. Del Rio went for Mathews until Kane came out. Mathews ran and Kane said his therapist wants him to apologize to Josh. Pretty funny. Teddy Long came out and booked an impromptu match.

5. Alberto Del Rio defeated Kane. Del Rio won thanks to a Ricardo distraction. After the match Kane attacked Josh again and gave him a chokeslam. I remember seeing a hell of a match in the XWF here between Kid Kash and Josh Mathews, but he didn’t take the slam well.

Triple H from Raw was shown. Basically a second Raw Rebound.

6. Randy Orton defeated Dolph Ziggler. Great reaction for Orton, the crowd loved him all match. Best match of the night, Orton hit the RKO. Vickie was pissed afterwards. Orton posed for a few minutes to a great reaction.
