Pictures From After RAW: HBK Appreciation Continues

23

After Monday’s WWE RAW from San Antonio, Texas went off the air, the “Shawn Michaels Appreciation Night” festivities continued.

John Cena warmed up the crowd and introduced a tribute video that was shown on the big screen and was described by several fans in attendance as incredible. Cena then called Shawn Michaels to the ring.

Shawn Michaels came out with Triple H, followed by CM Punk – who broke from his heel character and thanked Michaels for inspiring him. Punk said he’s had Shawn’s autograph since he was 15 years old.

Vince McMahon then came out and told Shawn that he’s like a son to him and said, “I love you son.” They hugged and it was an emotional moment that the crowd was very into. Hunter then called out the entire locker room – including The Undertaker, who was the only wrestler to get his own entrance.

Undertaker told Shawn that he’s directly responsible for 3 of his Top 5 matches of all-time. He then thanked Shawn for being a friend, and they hugged.

Shawn was presented with a commemorative plaque to honor his work for San Antonio’s AT&T Center. Out came John Laurinaitis, who immediately got Sweet Chin Music and thrown out of the ring. Triple H and Vince McMahon threw Johnny back into the ring. The crowd chanted “one more time” and got what they wanted – another Sweet Chin Music right to the face of Big Johnny.

Michaels ended the show by thanking everyone for supporting him throughout his career. He, Triple H, and Undertaker then posed together in the ring, in a scene that was very similar to what we saw at WrestleMania 28 after the “End of an Era” match.

A WWE spokesperson confirmed to TMZ that “Milena Roucka contacted a WWE Talent Relations representative this morning to notify WWE that, upon her arrival in San Antonio last evening, she contacted police at the airport to report alleged domestic abuse that occurred just prior to her flight.”

Confirmed the representative, “WWE is supportive of Rosa and will provide her with professional assistance.”

Trailer For WWE’s “CM Punk – Best in the World” DVD and Blu-ray

21

Silver Vision has released the official trailer for WWE’s DVD and Blu-ray compilation title on CM Punk, Best in the World, which is scheduled for release on October 9, 2012.

http://youtu.be/lQQhOWJzeOc

“On June 27, 2011, CM Punk forever altered the course of WWE history with a blistering rant, proclaiming, “Day in and day out for almost 6 years I have proven to everybody in the world that I am the best… on this microphone, in that ring, even on commentary. Nobody can touch me!”. Since riding into the scene as an extra in John Cena’s entrance at WrestleMania 22 to defending the WWE Title in main events all over the world in recent years, the “Voice of the Voiceless” has backed up that statement.

“Now, WWE fans get an unprecedented look inside the life and career of the most controversial Superstar of this generation. The first ever documentary to focus on CM Punk traces his rise to the top of WWE, from this early success on ECW, his divisive perpetuating of the Straight Edge Subculture, to becoming internationally revered as the best wrestler in the world, and all the 5 star matches and verbal “pipe bombs” in between. Packed with new interviews and commentary from Punk himself, as he takes the viewer inside his day-to-day life. Plus relive the signature matches that have punctuated his WWE career and vaulted him into the championship spotlight!”

Est. Runtime: 1 hour, 30 minutes

Solomonster addresses the Kamala controversy and thinks the truth likely lays somewhere in the middle, but is still disgusted by the comments made by the same people who are supposedly so interested in “helping” him. 231 also features a look at a LONG episode of Raw, including a plea to John Cena and advice for WWE on how to make sure they don’t kill the AJ character so quickly, as well as thoughts on Johnny Ace resigning due to “burnout”, Steve Austin’s reaction to Bruno Sammartino’s harsh words about him and Claire Lynch’s acting on Impact. Seriously, porn stars are more believable than she is.
