TMZ cameras caught up with former WWE Diva Torrie Wilson last week in Hollywood, California and asked whether Stacy Keibler, her close friend, is dating actor George Clooney. She claimed to be unaware, and that it was news to her. TMZ reporter Ryan Satin said of her response, “You can see there is a hint of jealously in her face.” Another reporter added, “There’s got to be more than a hint!”

Details On Future WrestleMania Locations

29

WWE officials have reportedly decided on locations for WrestleMania 29 in 2013 and WrestleMania 30 in 2014. Two venues that WWE has been strongly considering for upcoming WrestleManias include Toronto’s Skydome (site of WrestleManias VI and X8) as well as Arlington, Texas’ Cowboys Stadium, which could seat over 100,000 fans.

It’s worth noting that during the DX reunion that took place prior to a recent SmackDown taping from Texas, Shawn Michaels and Triple H teased that Cowboys Stadium would be a great place to host WWE’s flagship event.

Some are expecting New York City’s Madison Square Garden to host WrestleMaina 30 in 2014, but with WWE running stadiums since WrestleMania 23, its up in the air a to whether WWE would go back to an arena that houses less than 20,000 fans, even for a big anniversary show.

Officials have briefly discussed locations for WrestleMania 31 (2015) and WrestleMania 32 in (2016) – and will get more serious about those plans in early 2012.

Cody Hall Talks About Scott, Becoming A Wrestler & More

15

Mike Mooneyham of The Post & Courier spoke with Scott Hall’s son Cody, who was featured in the recent ESPN:60 documentary (Watch Here). Below are some highlights from the interview:

Wrestling being a part of his life: “Growing up with my dad as a wrestler has given me an extra appreciation for it, and all that it entails, so it has always been in my head as to if I could do it too. I have yet to have a calling to a certain profession, but if there is one, this would be it. It makes sense to start here. I know I have what it takes, and a whole lot more to bring to the table.”

When he knew he wanted to be a wrestler: “It was the night that we met Uncle Kev (Kevin Nash) at TGI Friday’s for dinner after a TNA show. While we were eating, fans were coming up and asking for his autograph. Kevin said to them, ‘Do you know who this is?’ and pointed to me. He told them I was Scott Hall’s son, and they wanted mine too. We were sitting beside each other at the table signing autographs and taking pictures together. It was pretty awesome.”

His relationship with Scott Hall:  “For a long time we have had a non-existent and strained relationship. I felt that his time was running out. I didn’t want him to leave with unfinished business or regrets, so I was trying to get to know him the best I could, in the time he has left. I wanted to make him proud of me, too, so I tried to do whatever it took.”

“I left because of the anguish of watching my dad kill himself with his addictions. It became too hard for me to witness this every day, and no matter how much I tried to help him, nothing changed. Eventually there came a point where I couldn’t live around it any longer.”

“My dad has told me on a hundred occasions it was his dream for me to follow in his footsteps and to see me get to the point he was and take it even further, and as long as I can avoid his vices I can have all the success imaginable.”

“I want to remember my dad as just a dad, not a wrestler, but the guy who was there when I rode without the training wheels or who waited for me by the bus stop when he was home. As long as I have those memories, that’s how he will always be to me in the end.”

Masters Alleges Diva Maintains “Oral Agreement” With Writer

53

Recently released WWE star Chris Masters posted a blind item on his Twitter account (twitter.com/wwemasterp) Sunday alleging that a female member of the SmackDown roster maintains sexual relations with head creative writer Michael Hayes in order to keep her job.

He wrote, “So if I had to tell you one smackdown diva who gave freebird hayes an “Oral” agreement to keep her job, who’d you guess?”

Similar allegations regarding sexual politics in the WWE lockerroom have been made as Taryn Terrell (a/k/a Tiffany) stated last December that she would not trade sexual favors with individuals in positions of power in order to maintain employment with the sports entertainment organization.

“No…if I have to sleep with people in power to keep or continue progressing in my job, I’d rather be poor,” she wrote on Twitter in response to a specific question about whether she would return to WWE.

She later retracted her remark, saying it wasn’t about WWE or anyone in particular, but rather a generalized statement of companies she’s worked for.

Masters On Being Let Go By WWE, Why He Stopped Using Drugs

17

TWP MAGAZINE #19 NOW AVAILABLE!

This month former WWE Superstar Chris Masters speaks to The Wrestling Press about his recent release, the reasons behind his first departure with WWE and his experience of drugs in wrestling, plus various other subjects.

Here’s what he had to say:

On the subject of being released for the first time by WWE: “I really kind of brought it on myself and I accepted it. I was very young at the time and I was thrust into success at such a quick rate that I was irresponsible and I didn’t really appreciate the opportunities given.”

On his experience of drugs in wrestling: “I was in Europe, Spain, working a tour and I looked in the mirror and it felt like I just reached a point where I thought enough of this. I had to get my life back on track, I had to get my health back on track and I wanted to be with WWE again. I looked back to the things I had lost in the last four years and it was like I just kept losing, losing and losing that eventually I wouldn’t have anything”

On his recent release from WWE: “I was a million times better in my second run with the company; I was one of the better all-round guys in that place. You got a lot of guys who are really green and I am at the peak of my career. For me it’s a controversial release, they dropped the ball.”

We also have interviews with TNA’s Jeremy Borash who talks about the company’s upcoming UK tour and an interview with former WWE developmental star Rampage Brown who talks about learning his craft at Florida Championship Wrestling.

As well as many other original features, such as; Welcome back, Triple H – Does the Hell in a Cell gimmick still have legs? – Heels too cool, they become faces – Mike Bennett and his effect on ROH fans – I know wrestling’s great when… – The Rock at Survivor Series – and much, much more.

In my deliberations as Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and Interim General Manager of Raw, I concluded that although Punk is extremely talented, he has lost several matches recently.
