– On Monday’s iMPACT!, two matches were announced for next week’s show:

• Tara vs. Daffney in a First Blood match
• Rob Van Dam, Jeff Hardy and Eric Young vs. Scott Hall, Kevin Nash and Sean Waltman in six-man action.

– Also on iMPACT!, TNA began a storyline where Mick Foley was fired from the company after he lost to Jeff Jarrett in a Loser Leaves TNA, set up by Eric Bischoff. TNA’s website has a headline that states, “Mick Foley … Fired?!” so they’re already teasing that there could be more to the story.

– WWE has announced that actor and comedian Wayne Brady will host the Monday Night RAW on May 3rd from Jacksonville, Florida. Brady hosts the Let’s Make a Deal gameshow and has appeared on shows such as Chappelle’s Show, 30 Rock, How I Met Your Mother and others. The upcoming Guest Host schedule looks like this:

• March 29: “Hot Tub Time Machine” stars Rob Corddry and Clark Duke
• April 12: David Hasselhoff
• April 19: “MacGruber” stars Will Forte, Kristen Wiig and Ryan Phillippe
• May 3: Wayne Brady

– Due to Mickie James’ recent battle with a staph infection, her country music debut album has been pushed back to May 18th, 2010.

— Rob Van Dam, Jeff Hardy, Sting and Mick Foley are backstage at iMPACT! and advertised to appear during tonight’s show. All four superstars were left off last night’s Destination X pay-per-view. It’s worth noting that in the company website’s preview for tonight’s show, they weren’t initially advertised to appear. However, their names have since been listed.

— Last night’s pay-per-view saw a reunion of the Wolfpack as Kevin Nash turned on Eric Young to help Scott Hall and Syxx-Pac pick up the victory, thus giving them contracts with the company. Both Hall and Nash commented on their reunion.

Nash wrote on Twitter: “Wolfpac is back! very proud of Scott. last night will be etched in my memory forever. dont forget to watch impact 9-11 on spike. I’ll be watching 2nite. worth watching just 2 see how good Scott looked at ppv if u missed it.”

Hall wrote on Facebook: “And THE BAND IS BACK TOGETHER….did you really expect anything else? Don’t blink…who knows what will happen next…”

Apparently, WWE doesn’t own the term Wolfpac when they purchased WCW intellectual property, thus meaning TNA is free to use it.

— The TV Guide preview for tonight’s iMPACT! is as follows: “Fallout from the Destination X pay-per-view event, including AJ Styles’ title defense.”

Tonight from the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California, WWE will be taping this week’s NXT and SmackDown shows before WWE RAW goes on the air. Here’s what WWE has announced for the final week of programming headed into Sunday’s WrestleMania PPV:

RAW:

– WWE Hall of Famer Pete Rose will host.

– Randy Orton will team with Triple H in a handycap match against TedDiBiase, Cody Rhodes and Sheamus.

– UPDATE: WWE.com is now also hyping a “final face-off” between Batista and John Cena for tonight’s RAW

NXT (Week 5):

All eight NXT Rookies will be in tag matches this week:

– Heath Slater (3-0) & Justin Gabriel (2-1) vs. Wade Barrett (2-1) & Skip Sheffield (0-2).

– Daniel Bryan (0-4) & Michael Tarver (0-2) vs. David Otunga (2-1) & Darren Young (2-1).

SmackDown:

– Beth Phoenix vs. Vickie Guerrero and a 9-man tag team match with Money in the Bank participants.

– SmackDown won’t be a full two hour show as the show that airs on Friday night will contain footage from WrestleMania Axxess in Phoenix.

Almost 3 years after the car wreck that landed him in jail for and his passenger brain damaged, Nick Hogan is returning to the world of competitive drifting.

Nick Hogan will be participating in the newly formed XDC (Xtreme Drifting Circuit) drift series that pits professionals against amateurs. He’ll be driving a black, turbocharged Nissan 350Z. XDC sent out a press release on Monday announcing:

Nick Hogan is confirmed to compete in the 2010 XDC tour, returning to the sport in a turbocharged black Nissan 350Z. Hogan will use this season to promote his charity, Keep It On The Track, which promotes safe driving and seat belt use across the country. Hogan is scheduled to be at all six XDC events, but may not compete until round two in Las Vegas if his car is not ready by March 20.

Bret Hart has posted a new blog update on his Facebook.com page talking about working with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin at last week’s RAW and says he’s “totally pumped up” for his match with Vince McMahon this weekend at WrestleMania.

“It was great seeing my pal, Stone Cold, last week on Raw. We talked for some time about our old WrestleMania 13 match and how great it was. Steve looked terrific and was excited about his acting career,” Hart said. “I also had a long look back with Kevin Dunn and Pat Patterson after Raw last week. We had some nice reflections on Owen that reminded us all what a tragic loss his passing was. We had some laughs too, and Pat laughed until he cried. All in all, it as a great night for me in San Diego last week.”

Bret also thanked his fans for being in his corner over the past 3 months since his return to WWE. “I’ll never forget it nor will I let you down next Sunday. WrestleMania, here I come!”

— Former WWE performer Tammy “Sunny” Sytch is currently working on a book about her time in the wrestling business which she hopes will be out next year.

“It’s going to be a fun book,” Sytch told the Asbury Park Press. “I’m not out to trash anybody or ruin people’s marriages or expose who did what kind of steroid, it’s going to be a fun read. It’s all about all the fun stuff that happens on the road that nobody knows about unless you’re there.”

Speaking of Sytch, she will be one of the featured performers at Independent Superstars of Professional Wrestling’s ISPWMania event on Saturday at the 3-2 Count Athletic Facility in Freehold, New Jersey.
