WWE SmackDown Live Viewership Rebounds

Tuesday’s edition of WWE SmackDown Live from Birmingham, AL at the Legacy Arena averaged 2.143 million viewers, up from 2.032 million the previous week, according to ShowbuzzDaily.

Despite WWE putting some together some intriguing segments for the show, this episode faced some solid competition. The show had to go up against Curse of Oak Island on History that did 3.519 million, Rachael Maddow Show that drew 3.274 million, Project Blue Book with 1.880 million.

Matches that took place on this show include Becky Lynch vs. Peyton Royce, Asuka defeats Billie Kay, Andrade (w/Zelina Vega) vs. Rey Mysterio, The Miz vs. Sheamus in the headliner.

WWE also hyped the Royal Rumble and the matches taking place at the show. In case you missed the show, you can check out the 5 takeaways from it here.

WWE will attempt to keep this momentum going with next week’s episode, which should increase in viewership as it will serve as the go-home show of the blue brand for the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event. As of this writing, there are no matches or segments announced for the show.
