Bayley AEW All In Speculation Takes Unexpected Turn

Bayley’s recent social media activity has fans dreaming about a possible AEW appearance alongside Mercedes Moné — but according to a new report, that dream match probably shouldn’t be booked just yet.

The speculation has centered on the idea that Bayley could show up at All In: London, fueled by cryptic posts from both her and Moné.

But according to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, there isn’t much confidence within AEW itself that it’s actually going to happen. Alvarez said the reaction he’s gotten from people inside AEW has been genuine confusion, admitting that everyone he’s spoken with is just as baffled by the situation as fans are.

I can tell you, at least among those in AEW, first off, everyone I talked to is also baffled by this thing.

Part of the issue, according to Alvarez, comes down to Bayley’s WWE contract status. He indicated the belief is that her deal doesn’t expire for a while yet, potentially as late as January, and that’s assuming no additional time gets added on top of that. Based on that timeline, Alvarez was direct in his conclusion: she won’t be at All In.

That leaves the teasing between Bayley and Moné as something of a mystery. Alvarez admitted he isn’t sure why the two are hinting at a matchup that, by his own account, simply isn’t happening.

The belief is her deal is not up for a while, maybe as long as January, and that is if they don’t add any time. Long story short, she won’t be at All In.”

“So I don’t know why she and Mercedes are teasing a match at All In. It ain’t gonna happen.

For now, the cryptic posts appear to be exactly that — cryptic, with even those inside AEW unable to make sense of where they’re actually headed.
