Hulk Hogan’s daughter, Brooke, didn’t hold back when talking about how much her father hurt her.
In a recent interview with US Weekly, Brooke Hogan said that while she easily forgives people, something changed between her and her father, Hulk Hogan, after she found out he slept with her close friend, Christiane Plante.
A major turning point came after he slept with my friend Christiane”, said Brooke. “I forgive people very easily, sometimes probably too easily, and I forgave him, but something between us changed afterward. I don’t think he ever related to me in quite the same way again.
Brooke Hogan further said that she could still love her father and speak about the truth that he hurt her at the same time.
I can love my father profoundly and still tell the truth about where he hurt me. Both things can be true.
The affair between Hulk Hogan and Christiane Plante began around 2008. At the same time, Hogan and his first wife, Linda, had filed for divorce a year prior. Moreover, Plante herself had confirmed the same to the National Enquirer after Hulk and Linda privately knew that their marriage was ending.
Despite the turmoil and controversies in his personal life, Hulk Hogan was a megastar in professional wrestling who changed the business forever. Unfortunately, he passed away last year due to a cardiac arrest, yet he will be fondly remembered as one of the greatest WWE superstars of all time.
