Buddy Matthews is still dealing with health issues.
The AEW star recently did a Q&A on Instagram where he was asked about his health status due to his prolonged absence. The high flyer mentioned the road to recovery has been long for him.
The former WWE star noted that he thought that he would be back in the ring by now, but revealed that he is still dealing with nerve issues. Though Buddy Matthews claimed that he has accepted that things are going to take time:
It’s been a long process! Still having nerve issues with a lot of numbness! But accepted that it’s gonna take time. Really thought I’d have returned to the ring by now, but can only control what I can!
The Australian star has been out of action since the Gram Slam Australia event back in February this year. He suffered an ankle injury during his entrance on the show, but still finished his match with Kazuchika Okada. The 37-year-old did not undergo surgery for his injury until August, and there is currently no timetable for his return.
