A dog crashed a trios match at a Legado TV lucha libre show in Mexico, and instead of stopping the action, the wrestlers and the referee worked the uninvited guest right into it. Videos of the moment have since spread through Mexican media.
The match featured Ciclón Ramírez Jr., Hijo de Dos Caras and El Cortijo. The dog, which El Heraldo de México described as an adult rather than a puppy, trotted over every time a wrestler hit the floor looking for attention.
At one point it stood on its hind legs with its front paws on the edge of the ring. It later chased one of the wrestlers through the stands as the crowd laughed, though it never showed any aggression toward the wrestlers or fans.
The clip ends with three wrestlers gathering to pet the dog in front of the crowd, a scene that played like an impromptu victory celebration.
Legado TV was all for it. In an Instagram post, the promotion sent its love to the dog and applauded the referee for keeping him part of the fight while treating him with dignity.
Mexican outlet Astillero Informa noted that it’s not yet known where the show took place or whether the dog arrived with an owner.
