Dominik Mysterio took his hatred for Rey Mysterio to another level and committed the heinous act of unmasking him.
The October 3 episode of AAA on Fox featured Dominik Mysterio and Omos teaming up to battle Rey Mysterio and El Grande Americano in the main event. The Master of the 619 took out Omos with a senton through a table outside the ring.
As he recuperated, Dominik grabbed Rey’s face from inside the ring and pulled his mask off. As Mysterio covered his face and the referee was distracted, Dominik hit El Grande Americano with the AAA Mega Title and pinned him to win the match for his team. You can check out the altercation below:
As a result, Dominik Mysterio has earned a shot at the AAA Mega title against El Grande Americano. Moreover, it continued the father-and-son feud that has been ongoing for almost three years.
It was back at the 2023 Clash at the Castle when Dominik Mysterio turned heel and attacked his father. He then joined the Judgment Day, and that stint made him one of the rising WWE stars of this generation. He is still aligned with the stable on RAW, now comprising his on-screen girlfriend, Liv Morgan, Roxanne Perez, JD McDonagh, and Raquel Rodriguez.
With Dominik set for a major title opportunity in AAA, it will be interesting to see if he can regain the belt.
