Erick Redbeard Debuts At TNA Bound For Glory, Aids Syx

Erick Redbeard made a surprise TNA debut at Bound For Glory on Sunday night in Tampa, wiping out The Hardys and helping Syx win the Falls Count Anywhere match.

The Hardys had Joseph Sawyer and Samuel Shaw laid out on tables beneath ladders on the ramp and were gesturing for them to climb. Redbeard appeared and put Matt and Jeff through those same tables. He then carried Jeff to the ring while Syx dragged Matt in behind him.

Redbeard forced Matt to watch as Syx slammed Jeff. Shaw and Sawyer then stacked Matt on top of Jeff for the pinfall, handing Syx the win in a match Matt Hardy himself called for.

A Wyatt Sicks Reunion In TNA

Redbeard, Sawyer and Shaw were all part of the Wyatt Sicks in WWE, where they worked as Erick Rowan, Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis. The faction was released on April 24, 2026, following WrestleMania 42. Sawyer and Shaw arrived in TNA only recently as Syx, ambushing talent before being revealed and booked against The Hardys. TNA had already shown serious interest in signing multiple Wyatt Sicks members.

Speculation about a Bound For Glory debut had been building. PWInsider reported earlier this week that TNA expected a former tag team champion to debut at the show, without naming who, and Redbeard was among the names fans floated. That rumor now appears to have an answer, though no one has confirmed it was the person in question.

Redbeard’s contract status is unclear. He has previously described himself as an independent contractor in wrestling and acting, and TNA has not said whether he has signed. How he fits alongside Syx, and whether The Hardys get a rematch, will likely be addressed on the next Thursday Night iMPACT. Check our Bound For Glory 2026 preview for the full card.
