Shotzi is officially headed to TNA.
According to Fightful Select, TNA sources have confirmed that Shotzi has signed with the company. The length of the deal is not yet known.
The news comes one day after Shotzi appeared at the TNA tapings on Tuesday in Dothan, Alabama, the company’s first TV tapings since Bound for Glory. She worked a match at the event.
Her MLW contract expired on Oct. 5. MLW reportedly had plans for her in 2027, but the company had nothing on paper, leaving her free to work for TNA. MLW sources described only positive experiences with her, and the promotion will now have to turn to a contingency plan.
Shotzi debuted for MLW in June 2025. She beat Shoko Nakajima for the MLW World Women’s Featherweight Championship in a match taped Feb. 7 and re-signed with the company in March. Her reign lasted about 217 days before she dropped the title to former TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich on Sept. 12 in Charleston, South Carolina.
Before MLW, Shotzi spent more than five years with WWE. She signed in late 2019 and became one of NXT’s most recognizable stars, known for her tank entrance. She won the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship with Ember Moon in March 2021 and moved to SmackDown that July.
Her momentum was slowed by a torn ACL suffered in February 2024 during a match with Lyra Valkyria at an NXT taping. She returned to NXT late that year, but WWE chose not to renew her contract in May 2025.
This is not her first time working for the company. She wrestled a couple of matches for TNA in 2019, when it was known as Impact Wrestling, shortly before signing with WWE.
TNA has not announced when Shotzi will debut on TV.
