Gisele Shaw has signed with the National Wrestling Alliance. NWA President William Patrick Corgan announced the deal during Saturday’s edition of NWA Powerrr on Comet, simulcast on Charge!.
Shaw’s first match for the promotion came on December 12, when she challenged Natalia Markova for the NWA World Women’s Championship at a set of tapings in Tampa. She won the NWA World Women’s Television Championship from Tiffany Nieves at the Crockett Cup on April 4 in Forney, Texas, ending what the promotion called a record-setting reign for “La Princesa.”
The Television Title Picture Is Messier Than The Announcement
The NWA’s statement bills Shaw as the reigning television champion, and on television she still is. At the 78th Anniversary Show on July 25 at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, though, she dropped the belt to Sirena Veil. That event is airing on tape delay across several episodes of Powerrr, and the title change has not reached air yet.
Several outlets have also described Shaw as the NWA World Women’s Champion. That title belongs to Nieves, who captured it at the same Crockett Cup taping where she lost the television belt to Shaw.
Shaw’s Commitments Outside The NWA
Shaw remains the inaugural MLP Women’s Canadian Champion, a title she won from Kylie Rae at Maple Leaf Pro’s Northern Rising in May 2025. She’s booked to defend it against Priscilla Kelly on an upcoming episode of MLP Mayhem, and the winner defends against Nikki Storm at Northern Rising on October 3 at the Mattamy Athletic Centre in Toronto.
She also holds the Destiny Women’s Championship, which she took from Kelly at MLP Sacred Ground last September. The NWA’s announcement didn’t detail the terms of the deal or address her outside bookings.
Shaw joined TNA Wrestling in early 2022 and confirmed her departure in September 2024 after being granted her release. She has worked regularly for the NWA since late 2025.
