Jay White won his first match in more than 15 months on AEW Collision, teaming with the Bang Bang Gang and Adam Copeland to beat Shane Taylor Promotions during a special Thursday edition of the show from San Diego.
White, Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn and AEW World Tag Team Champion Adam Copeland took on Shane Taylor, Lee Moriarty, Carlie Bravo and Shawn Dean. Copeland speared Bravo late in the match, and White finished off Dean with the Blade Runner for the pinfall win.
It was White’s first match since March 2025. He returned to AEW the previous week at Forbidden Door, costing The Dogs their AEW World Tag Team Championship shot against Copeland and Christian Cage before agreeing to team with Copeland as a favor.
The Dogs And Death Riders Strike After The Match
David Finlay and Clark Connors of The Dogs walked out to the stage once the match ended, pulling the attention of the Bang Bang Gang and Copeland. The distraction let the Death Riders jump the group from behind, and The Dogs joined in to finish laying everyone out.
Gabe Kidd addressed the alliance earlier in the show, telling White he’s part of both The Dogs and the Death Riders, and reminding him it was Finlay who ran him out of New Japan Pro-Wrestling before The Dogs ever formed. White and Finlay’s history from that promotion is now feeding directly into the AEW rivalry.
Collision aired as a 2.5-hour special from Viejas Arena and drew a loud reaction for White’s comeback, setting up the next round of a feud that keeps adding names.
