Even Je’Von Evans is afraid of something.
The high-flying star has become a fan favorite in his short run with WWE. Despite having joined the main roster only 6 months ago, his innovative style has led to people labelling the 22-year-old as a must-see superstar.
The Raw star was the most recent guest on A Shot of Brandi. He talked about things such as how he became a fan of wrestling, the segment that made him want to pursue it as a career, thoughts on Randy Orton, and more.
It’s Very Scary: Je’Von Evans
During the episode, the bouncy star also made a surprising revelation. Je’Von Evans admitted that he is actually afraid to try the Shooting Star Press because of how complicated its execution is:
There’s a move that I won’t say I can’t do, but what I will say is I’m afraid to try it. It’s a move called a Shooting Star Press. It’s very scary because you’re doing a backflip but you want [to go] forward, you know what I mean? I can do a lot of things but a shooting star press from the top rope is something that I am [afraid of].
Evans was most recently involved in the King of The Ring tournament, where he was defeated by Jey Uso in the semi-finals. He didn’t appear on this week’s Raw following the Night of Champions PPV, and we will have to see what the company is planning for him next.
