The Vision no longer holds the World Tag Team Championship.
Penta and Je’Von Evans beat Bron Breakker and Austin Theory for the titles at WWE Crown Jewel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday. Evans pinned Theory for the win.
The challengers started fast, hitting stereo dives to the floor. The Vision then cut Penta off and beat him down for a few minutes. Penta finally broke free with a head kick to Breakker and made the hot tag.
Evans cleaned house. Penta hit a dropkick on Breakker in the corner, and Evans followed with a splash. Theory flipped off the crowd and paid for it with a big boot.
Breakker caught Evans with a clothesline, but Penta answered with a springboard DDT on Theory. Then Oba Femi made his presence felt. Femi came out and powerbombed Bronson Reed off the stage and through a table. Evans capitalized on Penta’s offense and hit his finisher on Theory for the pin.
The match was made official after The Vision attacked Penta and Evans on the Oct. 26 Raw. The two teams had been feuding for weeks. Evans used The Vision’s own brass knuckles on Theory to win a non-title tag match on the Oct. 5 Raw.
Femi and Reed have their own history. Femi faced Reed at Money in the Bank.
