Kenny Omega won the AEW World title in a high-stakes match
The match between MJF and Kenny Omega on Dynamite: Beach Break carried a major stipulation: had the Cleaner failed to defeat his opponent, he would have never been able to challenge for the AEW World Championship again.
Realizing the high stakes, Omega came at MJF with full force and delivered one of the best matches in AEW history.
Moreover, he also got an assist from Will Ospreay, who stopped MJF from using the Dynamite Diamond Ring to attack Omega. As the match approached the end, Omega gained control, delivered multiple knee strikes to the face, and planted MJF with the One-Winged Angel to secure the victory.
Following his win, it was announced that Kenny Omega will defend his AEW World Championship against Will Ospreay, the winner of the Owen Cup 2026, in the main event of All In 2026. The match is set to take place on August 30 at Wembley Stadium in London, England.
