The company revealed the next step in his quest to win singles gold again on this week's Dynamite, announcing that Omega will be going up against Josh Alexander during the January 21 episode of the show.

The 42-year-old has been dealing with complications from his 2023 diverticulitis diagnosis in the past couple of years. After spending the whole of 2024 away from the ring, he wrestled only 16 bouts in 2025, with most of them being multi-man matches to protect the Cleaner from taking too much damage.
