LA Knight kept a queue waiting in Minneapolis, and one of the people in it has said so publicly.
A fan who attended the SummerSlam Meet and Greet Experience at the Minneapolis Convention Center over the weekend says Knight arrived around 45 minutes after his scheduled slot. She was there with her young children, who she says were worn out by the wait and ended up sitting on the floor before he appeared.
Her account was not a takedown. She said the family were still glad to meet him, that he was pleasant, and that they remain fans. Her one request was that he keep better time at future appearances.
The complaint carries some weight because of what these events are. WWE ran autographs and photo ops through SummerSlam Takeover across all three days, and they are paid experiences sold in timed slots through summerslamphotos.com, not free walk-ups. Neither Knight nor WWE has commented, and the account is one attendee’s, unverified beyond her own telling. Delays at conventions of this size are common and are not always down to the performer, with talent frequently moved between commitments across a weekend.
Knight worked SummerSlam itself, teaming with Solo Sikoa and Royce Keys to beat The Bloodline on Night One, and appeared on Monday’s Raw in Des Moines to confront Roman Reigns.
