Mandy Rose Opens The Door To AEW: ‘I Would Take Any Call’

Mandy Rose will take the call. She just wants a different conversation than the one she would have had five years ago.

Rose has not wrestled since December 2022. Speaking to TMZ’s Inside The Ring, she said the promotion on the other end of the phone does not matter.

I would take any call, whether it was AEW, WWE, TNA, it doesn’t matter where it’s from. I would always take the call. What would be different would be the conversation I have with whichever company it would be because it would be about the Mandy Rose today and it wouldn’t be about the Mandy Rose 5 years ago. And I think that’s what’s so important because I’ve grown. I’ve been very successful these past few years especially being out of WWE. And I think I’m in a different headspace and I’m in a different mindset of what I want to do and how I want to portray the rest of my career and also what I want to do to my body.

She is not fixed on wrestling as the route back either.

We all know that you can get beat up and work a managerial position or anything like that. I would totally not be opposed to either as well. I wouldn’t be opposed to maybe getting back in the ring one day. I always just say never say never because I feel like you never know how you’re going to feel a certain time frame. Like maybe there is a day that I’m like, ‘You know what, I really feel like getting back in the ring. Like why not, right?’ I’m still young. I still take care of myself really well. And that’s why I always say never say never.

When did Many Rose leave wrestling?

The position itself is not new. Rose told Renee Paquette in 2023 that she had not ruled out AEW and that the boots were not hung up, and she has repeated versions of that since without anything coming of it.

Her last match came on December 13, 2022, on NXT, where Roxanne Perez took the NXT Women’s Championship from her and ended a 413-day reign. WWE released her the following day over content she had been posting on her subscription site. She has been a free agent since 2023 and has built a business around that work.
