Mercedes Moné’s recent social media post might have hinted at the years left for her inside the squared circle.

The CEO took to her X account to drop a cover photo of the latest edition of her Mone Mag newsletter. Among the text on the cover highlighting various topics in the newsletter, one read “16 Down 20 To Go.”

The AEW star recently celebrated the 16th anniversary of her first match, which was the meaning behind ’16 Down.’ So, ’20 To Go’ could mean that she would continue to wrestle for the next twenty years and possibly retire in 2046.

Mercedes Moné is set to challenge for the AEW Women’s World Championship at All In 2026

Mercedes Moné returned to AEW after a lengthy hiatus in June and made an immediate impact. She won her second Owen Hart Foundation Cup tournament and earned a shot at the AEW Women’s World Championship at All In this year.

The former SmackDown Women’s Champion will battle her heated rival and the reigning champion, Willow Nightingale. She ended Mone’s record-setting TBS title reign at the end of last year, which sent her into the aforementioned absence.

Moreover, Nightingale holds a 2-1 record over Mone in singles matches. At the same time, The CEO has not been able to win the Women’s World title since her AEW debut in 2024. With the odds stacked against her, we shall have to wait for All In 2026 to see if Mone can beat Nightingale and win the one title that she has yet to capture.
