MLW Fusion Match Card for August 8, 2026
Here are the matches and segments announced for tonight’s show:
Killer Kross (c) vs. Satoshi Kojima (MLW World Heavyweight Championship)
Kross has held the title since winning Battle Riot VIII in January, and MLW has protected him as the centerpiece of its new streaming era ever since. Kojima is chasing his third reign with the belt, which would make him one of the most decorated champions in company history.
The complication is who’s standing at ringside. Scarlett Bordeaux is with Kross as always, but Matt Riddle has been hovering around the champion’s camp for weeks, and MLW has openly floated the idea that Riddle thinks he’s owed something for the help.
Shotzi vs. Scarlett Bordeaux vs. Lady Frost
This one spun out of a confrontation on Shotzi’s Graveyard, and MLW is framing it as Lady Frost’s spotlight arrival in the division. Bordeaux has the most to gain in storyline terms, since a win would put her alongside her husband at the top of the card.
Frost told SEScoops last month that she came into MLW hunting gold, and a three-way win over two of the promotion’s most visible women would be the fastest route there.
Joe Coffey vs. Alan Angels
Glasgow Boys On Top have spent the FantasticaMania stretch trying to establish themselves as a problem for the locker room. Angels has been in the middle of the Middleweight Championship picture and is the more technically polished of the two, which sets up a straightforward clash of styles.
Josef Samael’s Grand Proclamation
Samael was revealed as The Serpent in the closing moments of last week’s episode, and CONTRA Unit’s mouthpiece has promised a statement tonight. With KUSHIDA carrying the group’s flag and new members being added by the week, this is the segment likely to set CONTRA’s direction into the fall.
Matt Riddle Is in the House
Riddle is advertised for the show as Kross prepares for Kojima. Whether that means help, interference or the opening move toward a title shot of his own is the question MLW has been teasing all week.

MLW returns to Charleston over September 11 weekend, with Talk’n Shop LIVE featuring The Good Brothers kicking things off at The Windjammer. The next Fusion television taping follows on October 3 at Center Stage in Atlanta, after MLW pulled the date from Philadelphia’s 2300 Arena citing a breach of agreement.
Tonight closes the book on FantasticaMania USA, so the world title picture coming out of Kross vs. Kojima will shape whatever MLW builds toward in Atlanta.
