Oba Femi may have found an unlikely companion.
WWE presented its latest house show from Fairfax, Virginia on Thursday, August 6. The event featured names such as Charlotte Flair, Tiffany Stratton, CM Punk and Cody Rhodes in action.
At one point in the show, Danhausen was in the ring with The Miz. The comedy star teased a match with the A-Lister but The Miz attacked him before a bout could officially begin.
The former World Champion went for the Skull Crushing Finale on Danhausen, but Oba Femi’s music hit.
The Ruler went on to face the WWE veteran in a singles match where he picked up a quick victory. Danhausen posed with the former NXT Champion in the ring after the bout:
Oba Femi made an appearance on this week’s Raw after finally retiring Brock Lesnar in the main event of SummerSlam night 1. He had a brief interaction with Paul Heyman before the young star got in the ring and cut a promo about leading the new generation.
The Vision made their entrance as Femi was heading to the back, and Bron Breakker had a tense stare-down with the heavyweight star before things moved along.
