A new match for Crown Jewel.
Tonight’s episode of SmackDown featured Randy Orton in a promo segment claiming that he was proud of Cody Rhodes for finally hitting the Punt. Cody’s own entrance was followed by Nick Aldis, Jason Jordan and Shawn Daivari coming out to stop the confrontation from getting physical.
Rhodes took his jacket off after some back-and-forth, but the officials got in the ring before the fight could start. Nick Aldis proposed the idea for a Crown Jewel match to settle things. Cody responded with a proposal to make it Last Man Standing and Orton agreed.
