Judgment Day has its hands on more gold.
Raquel Rodriguez defeated Sol Ruca to capture the Women’s Intercontinental Championship on the July 27, 2026 episode of Raw from the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, ending Ruca’s reign on the final Raw before SummerSlam.
It was Rodriguez’s second crack at Ruca in a matter of weeks. On the July 6 episode, she had the champion beaten until Iyo Sky raced down to break up Judgment Day’s interference, allowing Ruca to hit the Sol Snatcher and retain. This time, the powerhouse finished the job and delivered the faction the title it had been chasing.
The win ends a memorable run for Ruca. The 26-year-old, the youngest champion in the title’s short history, had held the belt since dethroning Becky Lynch at Clash in Italy on May 31, turning back challenges from Lyra Valkyria and Rodriguez along the way before finally being toppled.
For Rodriguez, it’s a signature singles achievement to go with her past Women’s Tag Team Championship success, and another power move for a Judgment Day group that continues to accumulate championships across the roster.
The Women’s Intercontinental Championship was established in November 2024, with Lyra Valkyria crowned as its inaugural holder. Rodriguez becomes the fifth woman to hold it, following Valkyria, Lynch, and Ruca.
