KAIRI is heading out to sea. Chris Jericho announced that the former Kairi Sane will be part of his Rock N Wrestling Rager At Sea: Seventh Cruise of a Seventh Cruise.
Jericho shared the news on Instagram, welcoming “the Sane Sailor” back to the cruise. KAIRI will take part in the meet-and-greets and photo ops, and will be part of the overall festivities on the voyage.
The cruise already has a main event on the books. Jericho will team with Matt and Jeff Hardy against Blake Christian, Jay Lethal and Nick Wayne. An episode of AEW Collision will also air from the ship.
Sane was one of several talents released on April 24 in WWE’s post-WrestleMania 42 roster cuts. It was reported at the time that she was let go as she had indicated a desire to move back to Japan.
She is currently a free agent after WWE released her in April. Her appearance comes while AEW is reportedly in talks with her, though nothing has been confirmed.
