Roman Reigns put down Sami Zayn and won the Crown Jewel title after a hard-fought showdown.
The main event of WWE Crown Jewel 2026 featured Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn competing for the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship. The crowd was firmly behind Zayn from the get-go, but that did not stop The OTC from establishing his dominance in the match.
Despite the stature of Reigns, Zayn did not show any doubt or intimidation and gave a hell of a fight to The Tribal Chief. The match was an enthralling action as both World Champions delivered a compelling showdown.
As the match approached the end, Sami Zayn accidentally took out two referees when he was inches away from victory. He then tried to attack Reigns with his Undisputed title, but Reigns countered with a spear. Both men continued to trade blows and hard-hitting moves like the spear and Helluva Kick, but neither refused to back down and kept fighting.
However, The OTC had had enough, and he laid out The Last Real Good Guy with a final running spear. Zayn was cut in half, and Reigns pinned his shoulders to the mat to win the match and become the new WWE Men’s Crown Jewel Champion. Sami wanted a handshake from Reigns post-match, but he gave him a hug to show respect for his performance.
With The OTC adding a highly prestigious accolade to his resume, we will have to see how Sami Zayn will respond after taking a huge loss.
