Solo Sikoa’s Merchandise Sales Are Climbing

Solo Sikoa’s babyface run is showing up in the sales figures.

WrestleVotes Radio, reporting on Fightful Select, says there has been an uptick in Sikoa merchandise over the past month. A source at Fanatics indicated his recently released Funko Pop has performed better than expected.

The report also says WWE is working on new “Pew Pew” merchandise over the coming weeks, for sale both online and at arenas. Pew Pew is the catchphrase Sikoa has leaned on since turning babyface, and it has become the crowd’s shorthand for him.

The reporting lines up with what has been happening on television. Sikoa lost to Jey Uso on RAW under a stipulation requiring The Usos to deliver him to Roman Reigns, with the expectation that he would fall back in line with the family. Instead, he took a Tongan Death Grip from Jacob Fatu and then hit Reigns with the Samoan Spike.

There had been speculation that the run would be cut short or folded into the wider Bloodline story. WRKD Wrestling reported afterward that the face turn was never in danger and that the response to it has been positive both on screen and backstage.

Sikoa led the MFTs before the turn. He was also part of the six-man tag at SummerSlam Night 1, where LA Knight pinned Jey Uso.
