Tony Khan thanked viewers after Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite tribute to PAC, calling the show an amazing tribute and pointing anyone who missed it live to TBS West and HBO Max.
Khan stood on the stage with wrestlers and referees for the ten-bell salute that opened the night in Pittsburgh. He also made the call to close the show with the Death Riders and Bryan Danielson against the Don Callis Family, and added Mercedes Mone and Marina Shafir to the women’s trios match earlier in the day, partly because of Shafir’s friendship with PAC.
Renee Paquette read a statement from Benjamin Satterley’s wife Natalie and his parents. The family thanked AEW for its help through the tragedy and thanked Khan for lightening their load. Excalibur also said all profits from the PAC memorial shirts would go to the family.
