The recent San Diego Comic Con saw a huge brawl break out between Kyle Fletcher and Bandido, as revealed in a video posted by AEW TV on X. The Protostar was part of the AEW panel as they interacted with fans and the media. At that point, Brody King made an appearance, which led Kyle Fletcher to get up from his seat and confront him.
As Fletcher approached him, both men threw hands before a masked man jumped the Protostar. As he took off the mask, it was none other than Brody King’s partner and Fletcher’s upcoming opponent at Redemption 2026 PPV, Bandido.
Both fierce rivals lay down back-and-forth punches on each other before the security intervened and separated both AEW stars. You can watch the footage of their brawl below:
This comes on the heels of Kyle Fletcher being set to defend his AEW International Championship against Bandido at the Redemption PPV. Moreover, Fletcher himself went to Tony Khan and asked to ban everyone from ringside, including his allies in the Don Callis Family, after Kevin Knight mocked him, saying he could not win without their help.
Therefore, it will be a fair fight at Redemption between Bandido and Fletcher. Furthermore, with this intense brawl breaking out just days before the PPV, it will be interesting to see who will leave the event with the International title.
